With the rudder in the neutral position the boat would pivot to port.

With the rudder hard port one may think the boat may tend to move even
more aggressively (bow) to port....



After seeing Jim's answer you have to understand that I *meant* to say "tend
to move even less aggressively to port".......and "walking" port to
starboard.......

Yeah, that's the ticket!
