Default Oil injection

I considered that but was curious if there is a way of doing it now
since the oil tank is already filled. There is an oil tank in the boat
and one on the inside of the outboards cowling at the top.
All new to me.
Thanks

How do you know it's really working? I'd hate to seize an engine. I
remember when they first went to this on jet skis and guys were
blocking
them off for pre-mix. Never had an OB with oil injection before.

I carefully marked the tank in 1 pint increments. (do it as you fill
the tank) and checked it against the numbers of 6 gallon cans of gas.
It will actually be a bit less if your motor uses variable feed but it
is a good sanity check. Pretty soon you just get a gut feel for how
much oil you should be using.
