One thing I need to do soon (like today/tomorrow) is to reqwire the
trailer. the current lights do not work. Can I simply zip tie the
wires to the trailer? Or must they be run inside the trailer frame?
I guess I can just tie the new wires to the old wires and pull them
through. We shall see...

I would be very afraid of any situation where I smell gas fumes aboard a
boat. I would have a mechanic check it out before using the boat again.
