Could this be why?

Yes, it is why. I'm killing myself with laughter!!!

After only 17,000 miles the report says:

"The Kia is not without its downside. First and foremost is noise.
Sure, you can revel in the guttural moan of the engine but if you can
hear that you can hear tire whine and growl, chassis creak, suspension
thud, and a plethora of unsophisticated mechanical squawks."

It's starting to fall apart! At least they got it out of the
dealership (perhaps on the second or third try).

Moooo-hoooo-hooo-haaaa-haaaa!!!!!!!!

The Sedona, now the best selling minivan import, is acing long term
tests. Ours is so good we've decided to keep it for the full warranty
period. Until Subaru comes out with their van, there's nothing
better.

But it gets worse for poor Bob! Now we gave the Tribeca to my old
man,
but we still use it at times. Still one of the better handling SUV's
around and arguably the best in the snow. Long term tests are a RAVE!

Oh! And now it is beginning to really hurt!!!!

"On the minus side is the beautifully sculpted twin cockpit interior
that's a little too intimate and cramped on long trips. "

I'd rather have cramps from laughing than from having your knees
pressed against your chest!

Mooo-hooo-hooo-haaa-haaaa!!!!!

But it gets better:

"On the downside, the styling. Most of us would rather only drive the
Tribeca at night. Also, leg room in the second and third row seats is
tight. Still, after only 5 months we've racked up nearly 12,000 miles
with better than average for its class fuel economy of 19.0 miles per
gallon. So fortunately for the Subaru B9 Tribeca, there is more to
being attractive than just looks. "

19 mpg makes up for ugly!

Maybe not:

"This Subaru B9 Tribeca is a case of love at second or perhaps third
sight. At first sight we were not so sure about its unusual "winged"
front end styling. But, after 7 months and 14,000 miles, we've have
come to almost love everything else about Subaru's first seven
passenger sport-utility"

The blind may love it. Maybe not:

"Over the last 10 months, we've frequently criticized the Subaru B9
Tribeca utility for styling that only a mother could love. "

But suppose you are not its mother:

"We've never cared for its awkward front-end styling. "

"But clearly, the Subaru B9 Tribeca's beauty is more than just skin
deep. "

"While MotorWeek viewers know we never cared for its awkward front-end
styling,"

Now matter how many miles you drive it, it's still ugly and cramped!

Gotta love the esthetics and ergonomics!!!

Mooo-hooo-hooo-haaaaa-haaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you want to see the reviews for the flagship AWD Mazda Sports
sedan?

Not right now, my sides still hurt! "Hey - meet my wife! She's butt
ugly but you don't have to feed her much, she never gets sick and will
live a long time (if her name isn't Kia)!"

Mooo-hooo-hooo-haaaaa-haaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off-the-top-rope, double-knee to the stomach, SMACKDOWN!
