I think that is a low figure. Many would not bother to complete a survey
and
many of mixed race may not indicate black as their origin. I've read
opinions that 5% would be closer to reality.
You're right, it probably is a low figure.
But I would also venture to guess there are as many lazy *whites* as a
percentage of the population as there are blacks, making the overall
percentages very accurate.
