I am 100 miles from it and on Monday and Tues the vis was about .25
mile. Today, after a light rain it is very clear.
The Apalachicola National Forest adjacent to Tallahassee has an
aggressive controlled burn policy that heas kept wildfires to a very
low level inthe drought. Apparently Okefenokee and Osceola Nat Forest
do not do nearly as much controlled burn and thinning so they have
probs.
