I spent the entire day taking the trailer out from under the Halman in
order to do a complete trailer refurb - man that was a job and a half.
I haven't worked that hard in freakin' years.

So, wouldn't you know it, but I had two emails on it tonight and one
is coming to see it tomorrow, the other Wendsday.

Watch me sell it and the buyer wants it by Thursday.

Heh - he/she will just have to wait on that one. It will take me two
weeks to recover. :)

By the way, interesting side effect of removing the boat from the
trailer - it looks like a completely different boat - very stylish
with a certain "attitude" - only way I can explain it.

How does one take a trailer out from under a sailboat without using a
lift
with belts under the boat?

Very carefully.

Jacks, stands and a lot of tugging and pulling.

Dummy. You should've called. I would've stopped by to help, if you
would've
rewrapped my 6000 yr old surf casting rod and gotten it back to me by
early
Octember.

Can you mail it? Or is it too long?

I'd be glad to do it for you if you can get it here.

Take about a month - I'd do it inbetween other projects.

I'll measure it & compare to USPS or UPS rules. I wrapped it a few years
ago, but it's a travesty. Really ugly.
