Default BBC Voyages of Discovery being posted now...

As I type this, part 1 of 5 parts called:
"BBC Voyages of Discovery.1of5.Circumnavigation......."
is being posted to alt.binaries.multimedia.documentaries, and will be
completed in a few more hours from the look of it. I'm downloading part 1
in a massive documentary download from this newsgroup that's already
complete. I thought you'd all might like to see it. Play it when you have
to put up the storm jib...(c;

The video is in XviD format with MP3 sound playable by many players,
including Videolan Client (VLC) which is free from www.videolan.org and
will play about anything posted anywhere, even copy protected crapware.

You will need WinRAR from www.rarlabs.com to check and reassemble the final
..avi file, insuring data accuracy. There are also sets of parity files you
can correct any errors WinRAR reports. QuickPAR from www.quickpar.org.uk
is freeware and will do an amazing job of reconstruction, if your set of
RAR files has errors or missing pieces/parts.

I'm now recommending Grabit, which is free, from www.shemes.com for binary
file downloading and decoding on-the-fly. You don't need to buy his binary
search engine subscription to use Grabit. Grabit is as fast as your
internet connection, opening multiple ports to utilize every available
microsecond rabidly downloading to your poor, stuffed computer....(c;

Just the BBC documentaries uploaded by fans in this newsgroup is worth the
trouble of seeing fantastic programs like this unavailable in America,
which is filtered by the PBS bureaucrats mindful of ****ing off the
politicians holding their purse strings. All of the controversial
documentaries the US Gummit doesn't want you to see are posted here.
