At the end of the first day...
I may be a bit more sensitive to this for reasons I care not to
discuss........and I do find his comments proving him a bigot.
I don't see it that way at all. I'm married to a gal of Mexican decent (both
parents born there), and his post didn't bother me at all. I showed her, and
she didn't see what the big deal was. It's a fact that Home Depot has
signage in both English and Spanish...maybe a company wide policy? Why you
think someone is a bigot for pointing that out is beyond me.
Why don't you take a look at the percentage of whites to hispanics in the
construction trade... nationwide. 20 years ago it was more whites than
hispanics. Today, it's the opposite. Trust me, I know... I'm a General
Contractor in CA. Does it bother me? Not one bit. I don't care who works for
me as long as they put in an honest days work for their pay. I guess I'm now
a bigot for pointing out the facts and employing some of them?

Spin it any way you want........you are a bigot.
Comprender?
I don't know whether Chuck is a bigot or not. I *do* know that there
was nothing in his post that would give me a clue, one way or the other.
