I concur on that...many of the individuals that live in the apartemnt
complex we're in are military...between 25-35 years old...I've spoken

I don't think most of them are ignorant or stupid. Many of them have
limited
options, and reasonably thought that joining the military would be a way
out
of poverty. They were right and they were wrong. A lot of them are dying

Most enlisted people, and officers can find better paying jobs than
the military.

I doubt that it's true for "most" enlisted people, but please feel free to
provide the statistics.
