Out of curiosity, what do you pay per foot/month
to stay there?
For 37 feet, it's $73/ft for the season, nominally April 1 to Nov 1. Land
storage for winter is limited to first come. Water storage is plentiful.
Floating slips with water and 30 or 50 amp power. Rates are lower for smaller
boats. Give them a call at (718)478-0480.
That sounds pretty reasonable for New York. We
currently have our boat on the Texas gulf coast
and are paying $185/mo for a 38' non-liveaboard
slip with fresh water and 30A 120V AC service. If
If we stay aboard for more than 5 days straight
during the month, it is counted as liveaboard, and
there is a $55 surcharge for the month to cover
the increased utilities.
Given your shortened season you are paying about
$9.13 per foot per month vs our $6.32 per foot per
month for a liveaboard slip--not bad considering
the difference in locale.
