............work on the boat this weekend. It looks like Spring is
finally here.

Splash will most likely happen in early May............well behind
plan.

The new John Deere will also come out of hiding this weekend to finally
do some work.

For you fellow northerners.........has Spring arrived for you yet?
When do you plan to splash?

Unless they turn the fan off, staying off the water.

Small craft warnings here also...........north winds making the Lake
pretty choppy for us. It will stay that way at least until Sunday.

I have to raise the bottom paint water line, touch up some of the bottom
paint and add a 3 step ladder (getting rid of the 2 step). After that a
wash and wax will make it ready to splash as the remaining work
(installing new GPS/Fishfinder) can be done with the boat in the water at
the dock.

Was out for opening of Salmon Season 2 weeks ago, and the water was rough,
but the party was good. We have had lots of sheep in the meadow on the
ocean the last 2 weeks. Gotten cold, snow on Donner Summit yesterday.
Down to the 50's today. 15-20+ mph winds most of the week. The bigger
boats were getting some nice salmon today down off Monterey. With last
years bad season, a lot of the salmon postponed the swim upriver, so the
fish we are getting this year are large. Lots of 20-30# salmon this early
in the season is unusual. The lakes are pumping out bass and trout of you
can get out of the wind.

As predicted we are enjoyed a blue sky day today, temps in the mid 50's (we
are close to the Lake and it keeps our temps down in the Spring), with even
better temps predicted for tomorrow and Sunday.
