Our local police marine bureau got a couple of these last year. *One is
docked a few slips down from my boat. *They're cool looking, great
handling and they're fast. *Otherwise, my police friends down the dock
have little nice to say about them. *Among other things, the cabin is
too tiny and uncomfortable for long shifts, towing is clumsy, they've
had mechanical problems and I am told there is no room for a stretcher,
so in the event of having to respond to injuries or a water rescue they
have to call in their big ol' trusty Bertrams anyway.
