Boat trailer plans

It stays in the slip year round and considering I work on my own stuff rather than paying some over-priced marina to do the simple minded tasks. (They want to charge me $230 bucks just to pull her out and clean the bottom! Gimmie a break.) I would rather spend my money building my way out of slip hell. Any suggestions?
Do you have a place to store the trailer? It would be counter productive to build a trailer to avoid paying haulout fees and then paying even more to store the trailer!
For your use I would think that you would be able to buy a used trailer for less money then it would take to build one. If you weren't interested in towing your boat long distances you could get by with a fairly run down trailer that could be picked up cheap.
If your boat is a fairly common brand/style you may be able to borrow a trailer. I know lots of people who keep their boat in either a slip or dry stack storage and then have their trailer stored elsewhere. You might be able to just borrow a trailer when you need it.
Heck, offer to let someone use your slip while you use their trailer!
