Uh huh. And do you think that GWB went in front of that committee and
spoke his mind, with no prep and no rehearsing?

There was grumbling among committee members because Bush told them he'd give
them just an hour of his time. I translated that to mean that an hour is as
much of an attention span as he could muster.



So to answer your question: no I don't think Bush is a moron for having
misspoke.

If it was just misusing a word now and then, I'd agree. But he rambles
like a moron and misuses words constantly. He's actually funnier than
the people who mimic him... or at least, he would be if it weren't so
scary that he is actually the President.

Last week, he spewed some nonsense about how if we'd drilled for oil in
Alaska in the early to mid 1990s, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in today.
That was the best he could come up with as a solution to our oil dependency.
Fortunately, NPR followed Bush's wisdom with some facts presented by oil
experts, who explained how wrong the knucklehead was.
