Jon plays into the stupid act on purpose by not replying except by
asking a question so obtuse that he can turn around and cry "See,
see...told you so..." Having had 5 children., I know the tactic
well...most kids grow out of it when they learn how to discuss like
adults but Jon doesn't seem to have reached that stage yet...


Please, you do us a disservice by bringing this to his attention.
Don't want him to change his method. I engage in "debate" with Jon to
stay in shape for this type of interchange. Certainly, when my kids
were younger it was easy to stay sharp, now however, to prepare for my
grandkids, I need the practice.
