Afloat again!

My boat was craned back in today. Light winds and warm sunshine here
in Norway. All my friends in Uk think we live in ice and snow for most
of the year.
Tomorrow- big cleanup of land dirt, then the sails go back on and we
shall be sailing in Oslo fjord this weekend.
Lots of boats still ashore with the winter covers still on. We are the
first sailboat to get afloat.
No power boats charging around yet so the next couple of months will
be fine for sailing.
I really do feel sorry for all you ice-bound blokes. Sad that you have
to store your babies for long periods of time like that. Makes me wonder
about the intelligence of anybody who claims to love sailing but refuses
to move to milder climes where he can sail the whole year round. Hell,
there's no excuse to stay where it's winter half the year. Load the boat
up and head south. Life's too short to spend half of it huddled inside a
stinking land dwelling breathing stale air and probably high doses of
radon gas. Get serious. Leave that latitude behind before it kills you.
