Too many innocent people...and if we gave them 24 hours to evacuate do
you really think they wouldn't retaliate by nuking Israel? And do you
think either Russia or CHina is going to sit back and allow that to
happen or not take similar measures to us if we did such a thing? THis
isn't like Japan...other people have nukes now and what that would cause
is a mass chain reaction ...we would, of course, win the battle becasue
we have the superior firepower, butwe would lose the war with the
world...whatever respect we now have would go down the drain...and we
would be responsible for massive destruction on the earth, polluting the
air streams, water, etc. And qwe would certainly have global warming
after such an event....

Russia could not do squawt, China sells to much stuff here.

China could give a rip how much stuff we buy in that scenario...enough
of our companies are now over there that they would just nationalize
them...China is the biggest silent threat to the world right now and
people do not realize that she is just sitting there taking a nap until
the time is right...why make that time now?




I think cruise missles and stelth aircraft can take care of the
problem in a day without the use of nukes.

It hasn't taken care of the problem in Iraq...


uhhh Saddam's dead. Todays problem is internal Iraqi, insurgents and
the fact we stayed to help them attain order.
We should have killed Saddam and his evil horde secured the oil fields
until we were paid back 10Xs over with crude then left.

No way should we put one troop on the ground in Iran... unless it is
colvert targeting teams illuminating targets for the B52's, B1's and
Stelth's.

For every Saddam you kill over there, 10 more will spring up...this is
not conventional war fought for conventional means but jihad on their
part. They are not going to relent. I do beleive we have a responsibilty
now that we've interferred to put things right in Iraq and I think there
are enough Iraqui's who want that so it might work but Iran is a
different story. It is a much more sophisticated country than Iraq.
Blowing it up is just one more inflammatory action that won't get us
anything but more grief.
