She's already stated that she hates being in the middle of a mess between
people she likes. (That would include, you) So I don't think it's all that
far-fetched for me to ask her to (re)consider bowing out (which she also
hinted at a while ago) so as to *retain* her friendships with all concerned.

PS. The wife and I are still willing to buy ya a drink if ya ever
find yourself down in the Toms River/Seaside area.
