Never mind that crap...seriously, how are you enjoying your D70? I need
a second box to back up my D100, and the D70's specs look very good,
other than the slightly smaller viewfinder. Any problems? Shortcomings?
What are you using for memory? I've got a couple of one-gig Microdrives
for my D100, and I'm guessing they'll work on the D70. Which lens do you
have? Sharp enough?

Thanks

Since you asked nicely:

I absolutely love my D70. On only one occasion I picked up a little moire when
photographing the house (aluminum siding) in bright sunshine.

The 'kit' lens is an 18-70mm, and is very sharp. The reviews are great. I also
purchased the 70-200mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor (go to:
http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php...ductNr=2139NAS )

I use two 512 MB Lexar Media cards and the 'Jumpshot' usb downloading device.
Never had a problem.

Even being prior military, I was able to take the camera out of the box, use the
'quick' directions and take some pictures of pets, etc, that I thought were
fantastic. I've made 8x10 blowups of cropped images that are spectacular in
their clarity and sharpness. I use the Canon i960 printer for photos and get
great results.

Now, where are the croaker biting?

On the 'Poco Loco' out of Deale, MD

I just caught some in and around the Pax...on artificial worms.
