'regardless'.
Much like the misuse of "loose" when people mean "lose".
It is believed to have first been used in a Bugs Bunny cartoon and in
proper english it isn't a word, in the vernacular it is, just like
ain't and a few others of that sort.
In proper English, "sukiyaki" ain't a word, neither.
