I said specifically I watched the first 10 minutes of the show and the
last 10 miinutes and flipped back and forth while it was on to see if it
got any better...and the debate was AFTER the show...nit THE show...and
it doesn't really matter whether Jesus is buried in Jerusalem or
not...it has nothing to do with faith..the Ascension wasn't put into
theological dogma until the 5th century when Augustine decided that it
should be important and that it was apostolic in nature...whether He did
or didn't ascend has nothing to do with HIS message or the fact that He
died for mankind's sins...that He rose from the Dead is the vistory, not
that He may or may not have ascended bodily into wherever heaven might
be..or whatever Heaven might be...so finding His bones proves one
thing...He was there...He existed...finding His bones has little to do
with His message, which is the important thing...it is what Jesus said,
and what He did while on earth that is Christianity, not all the
foldetol people have decided to append to His life...byt ehe way, I am
an apostate Catholic...I do not adhere to Augfustinian thought or
Pauline theology..I am of the opinion that Pelagius was the correct
theologian and that if it had not been for the fact that Ausgustine was
a Bishop and had tremendous political sway, we would all be practicing
Christianity the way Pelagius descrived it...
If you had actually listened to the debate, you would have heard at
least one of the theologians say that not having his bones ascend
would put his faith in question.
This argument of yours sounds like you're arguing about how many
angels can live on the end of pin. It would be funny if you weren't so
serious.
ummm....we are talking about 2 different documentaries....I did not even
know there was a Geraldo Jesus documentary. I thought you were referring
to Al capone and the sealed up wall...
