Don't know "Capt Neil", but after many hours of googling this group,
you learn that many people hide behind fictitious names, often
changing them.
Time is compressed too, giving another perspective. There are feuds
here that go back many years, and I've seen them develop and sometimes
fade away. As a newcomer, I'm a bit careful not to sound too familiar
with others here, even though I feel I've known some for years.
But there are plenty of stalwarts here who don't hide who they are,
and they keep the group from turning into one honking flamefest.
Not to say some of the flamefests aren't entertaining as hell (-:
