How does one clean an LCD monitor. One site said to use a damp cloth
(water) but no cleaners. I tried that, but ended up with streaks on
the
monitor.
Any ideas?
Note: I may one day put this monitor on my boat. (Whew!)

90-whatever percent isopropyl alcohol. It's what's used to clean them
when
they're manufactured.
That's what everything says *not* to use!

Oh well. New recommendations, old recommendations. Worked for me.
Maybe you're thinking of a CRT instead of an LCD monitor?

No. LCD on my laptop.
Well, I'm glad nothing broke, but seriously, everything I've seen says
*not* to use alcohol. The micro-fiber lens cloth with a couple drops of
water worked very well.

"All decisions are the result of binary thinking."
I believe if you read further you'll find that " infrequent" use of a 50-50%
solution of the iso-propyl alcohol and water is not a problem.
