Not at all. I see us powerless to control our destiny thanks to the
inability of the human race to regulate its procreative urges. Where we
disagree is the means by which extinction will occur. You contend that the
Earth will take care of that. I contend that we'll inadvertently do it to
ourselves, while old Mother Earth sits back and laughs her continents off.

I haven't seen the movie _Children of Men_ yet, but I did read the book
when it was first published...rad it..and then read _The Handmaiden's
Tale_...That is how we are going to end...
