The comments in the other threads about the physical demands of
sailing are apt. Other than Larry (who apparently keeps his 250 lb
frame trim by hauling beer and chasing his bikini-clad crew), what do
the rest of you do to prepare yourself physically for sailing?

I have a gym membership... cardio, weights, nothing fancy. That certainly
helps during the off-season. I usually don't have a lot of time for it the
rest of the time and am much more hit and miss with going. I do a lot of
single-handing on my Sabre 30, but it really isn't that much work. When I
have crew along, they're mostly students, so they do the hard stuff. :-)
