I'm using AVG anti-vi at the moment, a freebie trial. It is not intrustive
and seems to have little impact on speed or resources. I gave up on the
Norton stuff about a year ago.

AVG is good but I use Avast!....both are good programs, have relatively
small resource footprints and offer automatic updates. My Avast! updates
automatically 2 to 4 times/day and is set for an autoscan every morning at 2
a.m.

Norton is a resource hog.
