Which, by the way, is a perfectly valid treatment if it works.

The mind is an odd organ - there is a mind-over-matter
component to it.

However, working against double-blind studies, it's a
50/50 proposition which basically means it's effective
if you believe it to be effective.

Nothing wrong with that.



I'd prefer to have my knees rubbed with gently heated extra-virgin olive
oil by three or four extra-carefully selected non-virgin masseuses.
I'm sure I'd feel much better after such treatment.
