We had a Egret out in the front yard ,they are so
pretty. I started pecking at the ground
then up came its head and a snake slinging in the air.
The fight was on. Its head was shaking the snake,
the snake wound itself around its beak all the way up.
It took about 5 min of this slinging and shaking and
winding around its beak. finally the Egret figured out
if it could bite the head off the snake the rest would
slither down. And sure enough to our surprise the snake
slithered down. Amazed and grossed out all at the same
time. Crazy birds.

Did you ever see the semi-tame egreat at John's Pass that
foes from table to table speaing french dries...?

No but we were at a outside restaurant by pier in
Clearwater and one kept trying to steal food on
the customers plates. The manager kept coming out yelling
and waving his arms trying to scare it off
and asking people not to feed the birds. I think their
beautiful and being that close to them is awesome.

Than restaurant is now bought out by a new owner and the
food stinks now so we don't go there anymore.

More for the bird...
