Looks like the global cooling finaly hit here int he mid west. No sub-
zero temps. but still haning in the low teens and twentys.
i keep telling myself, "just anouther 60 days to go..just another 60
days to go..."
Phil didn't see his shadow today. If you believe in the legend we will
have
an early Spring. http://www.groundhog.org/
Sometimes I think that groundhog is more accurate than our local weather
forecasters. ;-)
Sorry to see what happened to Orlando FL. My sister lives in Kissimee,
and I can't get though to her. alot of Communication problems. The
news shows neighborhoods wiped out. but miraculously, no deaths, but
some reports of minor injuries.
It really looks horrible on the TV.
What I've been able to glean so far is that the worst of the damage is north
and north-east of Orlando. Lady Lake is about 50 miles north of Orlando.
I'm only one mile from one of the major destruction areas, around our house
only a few leaves and palm fronds in the year. Never know something so
horrible happened so close.
