Default Furuno NavNet and MaxSea

Yes MaxSea will recognize C-Map NTMax charts. I think seanseamour
it talking about C-Map CM93 charts.

Your Furuno sofware version is the newest. And as your MaxSea is showing
radar all network settings are OK. Check that your MaxSea's Chart source
settings
are correct. If your radar source settings shows for example NavNet1 you
know that this unit
should be among one of the 3 chart sources you can select.
The reason you have the option of 3 chart sources is that you could have 3
Navnet units
and MaxSea could read charts from all 3.

The problem you have is most certainly that your dongle is not configured
for C-Map charts
so what you need to do is send a mail to "MaxSea Support"
supportATmaxsea.fr and ask
them to confirm that your MaxSea dongle is configured for C-Map charts and
if not send you the
3 codes. You'll need to supply them with Your dongle number, it is printed
on your dongle and is
seven digits long. You'll get 3 configuration codes, code 1 is 7 digits
and/or letters, code 2 and 3
is 8 digits and/or letters.

Hope this helps!

If you are using the latest version of MaxSea (12.5), it no longer
supports C-Map, if you stay with 11.something you should be okay but
you will not have the weather routing module. JP

This can't be true??? I'm using ver.12.0.1. cr06. Manual tells that the
MaxSea will automatically recognize C-Map card. Manual came with this
software. On MaxSea web site there is information about compatibility with
C-Map charts and NavNet. They claim that software is fully compatibile,
not mentioning versions of software.
