Default Finally got the Classic Mako in the water

After about a year of work, finding the period correct, like new,
engine, repowering, flushing fuel tanks, polishing gelcoat... It
finally went into the water. It was a beautiful day in Daytona Beach
on Saturday, in the 70's.

We put in in the late afternoon, cruised a few miles up the
intracoastal waterway to Ponce DeLeon Inlet, rounded by the coast
guard station and came back in the west channel. Everything ran
perfect. Next will be some teak care, I will probably clean and
varnish the teak.

Nothing like a 20 year old South Florida classic, reliving her glory
days.

The only thing missing is a 160lb Tarpon
