The personal, inflammatory attacks, and the off topic political
bickering that was the norm in rec.boats for so many years is reason why
most of the professionals left rec.boats.

Peggy has a wealth fo information, and from the times I've written to
her, on other places, she was most friendly and had great advice.

And why it is important to discourage that type of behavior when we
can. The rec.boats NG should attract boaters, there are plenty of other
NG's where political BS is appropriate.
