some rare DX station to say hi. The old farts start cussin' and jammin'
and trying to run him off....well, until someone boots up QRZ and looks
up his call and tells them all he's an Extra and has been for 20
years....(c;

I love to rile them, myself. They are just so petty and fun to poke the
stick at....(c;

I know an old fart that looks up every new station he hears on a 2M
repeater. He's crazy!....

You can't always tell if someone has an extra ticket by their call. I
keep w4ind because we are usually operating from the sailboat. I liked
WIND and as soon as they start processing vanity calls again my wife
will apply for W4AVE, WAVE.
