Yes, i know they're less efficient.
It's not that tough to lay an inflexible panel on a curved deck,
particularly for temporary (at dock) use. We've been doing it for a few
years and the improved output is worth it.
Yes, but the advantage of the flexible panels is that they can be walked on.
"Essie" has two UniSolar 35's on her cabintop, running fore and aft, to
either side of centerline. No charging efficiency data available yet, but a
durn sight more efficient than not having them at all. ;-)
