Correct. I've seen some of the stuff which I think would be ideal and
it's the material used on some GM cars under the hood to reduce noise.
Its fiber on the bood side, and a metallic flame retardant material on
the engine side. One could probably get all they could stand at a
local bone yard for almost nothing.
