Hey,, one thing though. In the summer when I cruise downeast, if I
get along side a lobster boat up one of the rivers, I will call over
and see if Mr Lobsterman will sell me a few of those little clawed
morsels. On many occasions I have purchased a few lobsters from the
lobster boat. Yum.. talk about fresh lobster. And the price is
usually pretty good.
Our specialty on the Ashley River in Charleston is Blue Crabs. The fine
Southern Gentlemen in the white boots covered in crab will GLADLY come
alongside your dock to let you peer, drooling, into their baskets of such
coveted sea life. You may pick and choose to your hearts content before
the poor *******s at the seafood shops get to buy those you discarded.
A proper dock is already equipped and the pot is already boiling and
seasoned for your choices, totally unavailable to the finest restaurant
patrons at any price. The freshes seafood are the ones that still can't
believe they've been caught...(c;
