Drop by the local Yamaha boatshop parts department and check on the
availability of a list of mundane, but not popular like impeller, parts.

Can you get it a new carb? How about the pull rope rewinder? Can they get
a stator for the ignition?

As we all know, Japan is a throw away society. Anything 5 years old is
disposable so there's no need to keep parts for it. Some Japanese products
this is not true. Let's hope this motor is one of them, but let's test it
before we buy. They told the guy selling it the stator was no longer
available, which is why he's selling it...(c;

There aren't any antique Datsuns in the paper where the antique English
cars are listed.
