She is a North Sea stand by boat.
She would shuttle cargo in a field... and standby for kicks,
blow-outs, and fire evac.
Her deck is to small to supply and she has no tow gear.
Stand-by is the best work in the oil patch for a skipper IMO, even if
the boats are a bit smaller than the supply boats. I did a year or so
stand by for Mobil...best fishing in my life...work 2-3 hrs a day
shuttling cargo from platform to platform, rest of the time hanging off
the rig fishing, reading, sleeping. Caught a 220 pound warsaw grouper
one day.
