Default This looks like old Tom....

Neal,
I had my boat, "Pneuma" for close to 18 years. When I sold her I got
close to $30,000. It insured for $40,000 at a cost of $120.00 per year.

In all that time, and it stayed in the water and sailed year round, with
never a leak any where. However, $120/year was worth having the
insurance. I raced it, I had guest plus crew very often and they were
covered.

In 18 years I never filed a claim. Never a need but I considered the
cost of insurance part of the cost of owning a beautiful year round
sailing vessel. Just like Life Rings, Life Vest, etc.

My vessel was worth it. I can understand your reluctance for that cheap
vessel but you are/were very unfair to anyone that sailed with.
Ah--again you were probably OK. Seldom sailed and never any company

By the way, Neal, I've invested that money in a income fund on advice
from this group which handles my VISA account plus is growing. $1,847.01
in 10 month. Pneuma is returning some of that money that went thru the
hole in the water plus all the pleasure over 18 years.

I hope your Crapanodo was as good to you. LOL
