This looks like old Tom....

If you look at the picture of me in the pilothouse you'd see that the
glass in the hatch doors are black. The glass isn't missing. It's
tinted. so are the sides.
Couldn't see nothing other than your tummy, Tom.
Those windows in that abandon Ketch are ALL intact. All of them. None
failed. You're wrong once again.
Even the one on the starboard side with the oil draining out the bottom?
The hatch way failed and that was right over the engine. That is why it
got sprayed, I don't know why it failed.? If it was a diesel it would
have had to fill the air intake. have to ask Scotty about the failure?
If you look at does door on the failed Hatch way you see the plastic
panes are still OK. You're wrong again
Why the heck was anybody with a sailboat motoring along six hundred
miles offshore during a storm? Because he didn't know how to sail. He
didn't know how to sail because he didn't have a sailboat. He had a pilothouse
motor boat. That's what he had. First little puff of wind and his masts broke off.
First little wave and he got rolled because he didn't have sails up and was
motoring along sideways. Duh. Sit there in the pilot house and act like a motor
boat. Get rolled. Meanwhile a young lady sails along with only one little knockdown
that did no damage and she's in a real sailboat sailing. Only twenty-eight feet long.
No big ugly pilothouse windows to break and flood the boat.
You need to upgrade your thinking to match todays boat building
material. today's plastic panes are as strong as the Hull or stronger.
Duh, sorry Tom there's no plastic window stronger than steel the same thickness.
That was a steel boat made unseaworthy by big plastic windows and hatches. Probably
glass windows. Stupid builder, stupid boat, stupid captain. Stupid all around.
Pilot houses belong of motor boats. They don't have any business or any reason
being on sailboats. Your just trying to defend your ugly dumb boat.
Cheers,
Ellen
