I just wish it was suitable boating weather for us. But even in the
safest conditions, I don't like the idea of getting out when the water
temp is as cool as it is. if by chance you would go over you're still
in bad shape.

Sounds like August in the Pacific NW, where the sal****er sometimes
warms up to just over 50-degrees. :-)
