WASHINGTON - Sen. Tim Johnson has been conscious at times since his
emergency brain surgery last week, his spokeswoman said Monday. But he

The South Dakota Democrat has made it through the first 72 hours since
the Wednesday evening brain surgery, spokeswoman Julianne Fisher said, a
benchmark that doctors consider a good sign for recovery.

Republican Neal's joyous out look for the return of a Republican Senate
is very slim and far from coming to pass.



Thom, you have to understand that the more you respond to Neal and his
sockpuppets, just as the more people respond to those who wish this newgroup
harm, the more power they are given. The best approach, while
