I'm looking to stay with hand held but don't really know

I'd have to second that on the 76 series. I've used them, but I still
own and use my 12xl. Don't need no stinkin mappin. :-)

A manly response! I have/had both models of the GPS 12. I still have the
GPS 12 with the 12 satellite capability. I gave the older model with the
6 satellite capability to a friend. The old model took a week to lock on.
Real manly men don't need maps. I also have a Garmin etrex and edge 205.
No maps there either! None of my GPS units have mapping capability.

My OCD tendencies force me to save tracks (as files on the pc) like others
save baseball cards or stamps!
I'm out of control!!

Files on the computer do not take up any additional space. What other OCD
behaviors do you have? I have a pair of socks from 1951.
