C'mon Larry, there're four times as many people just in LA basin as in
all of South Carolina. That's 160 times as many people as in Charleston.
Hell, there's as many people here in the Phoenix metro area as in all of
SC. CARB's actually done a very good job cleaning up the air in
southern Cal., given that they started a couple or four decades too
late, and everyone lives 50 miles from their job so they can afford the
ludicrous housing prices.

It was clean here in PHX back when there were only 300-400K people, now
we're doing an LA impression. Check back in with us when Charleston
reaches 4 million people, and give us an update on the pristine
environmental conditions :-)
