Maybe.Another reality was, though, that Gore had been away from his home
state for eight years while he was VP (by away, I mean relatively
uninvolved in its political affairs), and while he was gone the crazy
Christians and their henchmen, the right-wing GOPers, had taken over the
state with their simple-mindedness. Gore should have paid more attention
to what has happening in his home state, though...no doubt about it.
