Consider a stretched Jumbo Tolman Skiff. The Tolmans are very
effcicient. By putting the "floor" of the wheelhouse at the bottom of
the stringers, you can get about 6'8" headroom. There have been
several stretched Jumbos built. The Jumbo Tolman is available as a kit
too from Skifkits.
