Hmm...we could strip off all that old sail crap from the mast.....

Buy one or two of those......

Drive them from one of these on top of the old mast:

The blades are 20' long so we'll lop off the mainmast at 30' and mount
the bearing on top. Back at the dock, we'll insist the electric company
install a dual meter to measure our input to the power grid while the
boat is at the dock. It produces over 2KW to 3KW when the wind is
blowing, which should offset the dock fees quite nicely, once the battery
banks are recharged from our latest cruise.

If we anchor out, we can run cables on the bottom to the other anchor
bouys and sell power to our neighbors!

Otherpower claims the only noise is a low rumble caused by the huge
magnets pulling on the coils as they go by. He says it's really quiet
because it turns SO slow, never more than 200 RPM. We'll want the dock
to windward that noone ever wants for their boat...(c;

AND....SHE'LL SAIL DIRECTLY INTO THAT DAMNED HEADWIND WE'RE ALL ALWAYS
FIGHTING!.....NO MORE TACKING! Hell, if she swings around into the wind,
she may damned near PLANE!
