Jack, We just returned from 6 weeks of cruising the Sea of Cortez. This
is the third winter we have spent on the west coast of Mexico and the
Sea. Our homeport is San Carlos, Sonora, Mx. You might want to look at

La Paz or San Carlos are good provisioning points.

In December the Sea will experience strong northwest winds for three or
four days then light to moderate winds for perhaps a week before the
next northerly. Good weather forecasts are available on the SSB and
Ham.
