Why not? Any decent mechanical engineering curriculum covers all that is
needed.

So, who did you get to perform your brain surgery? A lawn mower repair man?

Personally I hope to avoid both Nobby's sort of bridges (both the dental
and the dream varieties), and brain surgery no matter who performs it.
